NEVER UNDERESTIMATE HUMAN STUPIDITY
THE MOST STUPID RECORD EVER?
You know what? We tried to make the most stupid record ever. And of course we failed. It was a stupid idea in the first place.
But having a stupid idea should be a good place to start, shouldn't it? Of course, it isn't. There is a big difference between doing a stupid piece of music and TRYING TO DO one.
Some artists featured in this compilation did not try to make a stupid piece of music: they just unearthed the most stupid track they had in the vault. These tracks were stupid for various reasons, sometimes only known to their authors. And what is even more stupid is that at least one of the tracks was fully copyrighted (while another track has a copyright license as a title -My Goodness! What are these guys doing? We are supposed to be an anticopyright label!)
On the other hand, some people really did try to make the most stupid song for us. Not a simple, plain, silly song, but the most stupid possible song. The stupid thing, they found out, is that the more you try, the less possible it is to make a stupid song (think about it!). Eventually, some of them submitted a track, albeit reluctantly. Others simply refused.
Most of our contributors, at one moment or another, tried to outwit us. We are not sure if this should be considered stupid, but we cannot say that we did not expect it, and we must admit that at least one of them succeeded.
It also should be noted that we tried to put the songs in a stupid order, the credits in a stupid disorder and do some stupid artwork to wrap the whole thing up; and here it is. Human stupidity cannot be overrated.
STUPID (ANTI-)COPYRIGHT NOTICE: We believe in the free exchange of ideas and information. Feel free to sample from us, we will not sue you. Nevertheless, if you do not believe in the free exchange of ideas or information but still sample from us, feel free to sue yourself in our name.
PS: The credits are on our website, but not in order, of course.
